The Beginning

The Small Miracles Club wasn’t born from a business plan. It was born on our honeymoon. Somewhere between airports, unexpected detours, and slow mornings in Italy, we realized something. The more we looked for the good, the more we seemed to find it.

It started on our very first day. We landed in Frankfurt with almost no time to make our connecting flight to Florence. The airport was packed, the immigration line was endless, and we were convinced we’d miss it. Embarrassed but hopeful, we started asking the people in front of us if we could move ahead because we were on our honeymoon. One by one, every single person smiled and said yes. Because of the kindness of complete strangers, we made our flight. That was our first small miracle.

A few days later, while staying at a hotel in Sardinia, we ran into an unexpected problem. Ants had found their way into our room, and after trying to make it work, we realized we needed to leave. Instead of letting it ruin our trip, we called our next hotel to see if they could take us a day early. They could. What felt like an inconvenience became an unexpected gift. Another small miracle.

Then, during a couples massage at that next hotel, something unexpected happened. The massage wasn’t exactly what I had imagined, so instead of drifting off to sleep, my mind wandered. That’s when the idea came. What if this wasn’t just something Gus and I said to each other? What if it became something bigger? What if we created a place that reminded people to notice the good? To look for beauty. To choose gratitude. To believe that even ordinary days are filled with extraordinary moments if we’re paying attention. That thought became The Small Miracles Club.

We’ve learned that a small miracle doesn’t have to be life-changing. Sometimes it’s simply a stranger’s kindness. A change in plans that leads somewhere even better. Or an unexpected idea that finds you at exactly the right moment. Once you start noticing small miracles… you begin to realize they’ve been there all along.

We hope this community helps you notice your own small miracles. Because they’re everywhere.
